A focused update packed with bug fixes, security improvements, UI polish, and some fresh new themes.

🎨 New Themes

For Everyone:

  • Aurora - borealis greens that feel alive

    • Replaces Forest with something far more striking

  • Obsidian - pure black meets deep crimson

    • For those who like their UI dark and bold

Cocoa Exclusive:

  • Cocoa Saffron - rich indigo meets warm saffron 🍫

    • A unique, striking combination exclusive to Cocoa subscribers

Theme Cleanup:

  • Several purple themes condensed into a single Lavender theme
  • Forest theme retired and replaced by Aurora

🔍 Global Search

  • New global search tool added

    • Search across your DMs, media, and rooms all in one place
    • Fast, accurate, and scoped to only what you’re part of
    • Find anything without scrolling through endless history

🔐 Security & Safety

  • Link safety popup restored

    • Clicking a link preview card now correctly triggers the link safety warning
    • No more bypassing safety checks through preview cards

  • Cloudflare Turnstile added

    • Human verification checks added across the platform
    • Protects against bots and automated abuse without being invasive

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed AHA! page not working

    • AHA! page is back up and functioning correctly

  • Fixed unread message bubbles not appearing on channels

    • White unread indicators now show correctly on channels with new messages

  • Fixed Do Not Disturb status not working

    • DND now properly suppresses notifications as expected

  • Fixed push notifications not working across all notification types

    • Push notifications now fire correctly for all events, not just DMs

  • Fixed chat not auto-scrolling to newest messages

    • Chat now correctly jumps to the bottom on new messages

  • Fixed typing indicators not working in DMs or rooms

    • Typing indicators are back and working correctly across the app

  • Fixed clicking mentions not opening profile cards

    • Clicking an @mention now correctly opens that user’s profile card

🖥️ UI & Design

  • Updated right click context menu design for messages

    • Cleaner, more modern, more consistent with the rest of the app

  • Reorganized settings page categories

    • Things are where you’d expect them to be

  • Reorganized room settings

    • Better structure, easier to navigate

  • Added sleek subtle animations throughout the app

    • Minimal but effective - makes interactions feel more alive without being distracting
