🎉 Welcome to Tavrn Public Beta

Milestone Build 32 marks the transition from closed testing to open access. After Alpha, after Pre-Beta, after major internal rewrites, Tavrn is now ready for everyone. This release introduces one of the most requested features, major UI redesigns, mobile improvements, and a stronger internal foundation built to scale.

And yes, signups are now open.

🌍 Public Access

  • Open signups are now enabled
  • Invite-only restrictions have been lifted
  • Tavrn is officially available to the public

🔊 Voice Chat (Finally)

Voice chat is here.

  • Join live voice channels inside servers
  • Real-time audio with improved backend efficiency
  • Built on the newly optimized internal architecture

This has been one of the most requested features since early Alpha. It’s finally live.

✏️ Messaging Improvements

  • Added message editing

    • 15-minute edit window per message
    • Prevents long-term conversation manipulation

  • Added a global presence system

    • Real-time status updates across servers and DMs

  • Integrated a new GIF system

    • Faster loading
    • More reliable results
    • Better media handling

🎨 UI & Experience Overhaul

This build includes one of the largest interface refreshes since Tavrn’s Alpha launch.

  • Redesigned Settings pages
  • Redesigned Channel list
  • Redesigned Member lists
  • Added a new profile view UI inside servers
  • Wider visual refinements across multiple components
  • Fixed menu bar appearing incorrectly on desktop
  • Fixed whitespace issues on mobile
  • Added further mobile support and layout stabilization

A larger dynamic theming system and expanded app-wide redesign is coming soon.

  • Reworked link preview system for improved reliability and consistency
  • Improved rendering and fallback behavior for external content

🛠 Infrastructure & Stability

  • Fixed issues with creating servers
  • Redesigned internal architecture for more efficient operations
  • Improved background processes for better performance under load

This version significantly improves operational efficiency and prepares Tavrn for larger user growth during Public Beta.
